Website Posting Guide

The following guidelines should be considered when requests are made by an individual, group or association:

  1. The document should consist of normal AAFCO business.
Need to ensure that anything to be posted would fall in with any AAFCO business that is being conducted and should be relevant.
  2. The document, etc., has been approved by the AAFCO Board of Directors and/or membership.
Not all documents would require prior approval if they complied with the other points listed.
  3. The document was written by an AAFCO member or committee and is used for regulatory purposes.
The document promotes the philosophy of AAFCO.
  4. There should be no inclusion of direct links to websites, meetings or documents.
This would ensure there is no favoritism or endorsement by AAFCO.
  5. Make sure submission includes date of document/presentation and location of meeting.
