Sightseeing
One of the things we like to do during the meeting is provide our attendees with ample time to see the city and spend time with their families. Two ways we are encouraging you to explore are through extended lunch breaks (1.5 hours) and through providing shuttle buses back and forth from the Hyatt Regency to Historic Old Town. The shuttle schedule will be available within the next few weeks but it will run for two nights during the conference.

Downtown Albuquerque
The Hyatt Regency is located in the heart of Downtown Albuquerque. From the Hyatt it takes just a few minutes to walk to Central Avenue (formerly known as Route 66). Central Avenue is home to unique restaurants and shops, museums, art galleries, a booming nightlife, performing arts, and numerous entertainment options. It is a perfect place to explore with your family or friends. Don’t forget to visit the many silver and turquoise shops for unique finds and some great deals! If you want to explore a bit more of Historic Route 66, take a quick bus ride east on Central to the Nob Hill District, full of more great restaurants, bars, unique shops and lots of neon (reminiscent of Route 66’s heyday). New Mexico Wine Growers Association
New Mexico, the oldest wine growing region in the United States, has 42 wineries and tasting rooms and produces almost 700,000 gallons of wine a year. We have been working closely with the NM Wine Growers Association to learn more about where you can go to taste the exceptional local wines the region has to offer. There are locations in Albuquerque where you can do tastings and a few wineries just outside the city. We will have more information posted to our website soon.
