AAFCO Check Sample Program
The AAFCO Feed Check Sample Program consists of twelve specially ground and mixed samples. The series – which begins in January of each year – includes a variety of feeds and supplements with drugs, antibiotics, minerals, and vitamins at levels normally encountered in commercial products. Results are used by the industry and regulatory laboratories as part of their quality control/quality assurance programs and by the Check Sample Committee to recommend AAFCO Analytical Variations as guidelines for citing deficiencies in feeds. The data supplied to collaborators include grand means, standard deviations and overall accuracy indices. A confidential report is sent monthly to each subscriber giving that laboratory’s accuracy indices. See the Invoice Form (available below) for current pricing. The AAFCO Assistant Secretary-Treasurer will enter your subscription upon payment and will assign a confidential collaborator number.
