Mark LeBlanc serves as Head of the Department of Agricultural Chemistry for the LSU AgCenter as well as the Director of the Division of Agricultural Chemistry for the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry.
Mark has 16 years of experience in state regulatory programs. He spent 2 years managing feed, fertilizer and lime regulatory programs before being promoted to Director of the Division of Agricultural Chemistry. He also serves as director of the Agricultural Chemistry Laboratory. He has served in his current capacity for 5 years.
Mark earned a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Horticulture from Louisiana State University. In 2006 Mark completed his PhD program in Horticulture with a doctoral minor in Food Science at Louisiana State University.
Mark lives with his wife Ellen and their five children in Sunshine, LA.
