Mark LeBlanc

Mark LeBlancMark LeBlanc serves as the Indiana State Chemist and Seed Commissioner.  Prior to accepting his current role in 2020, he spent more than 20 years working in various state agriculture regulatory roles in Louisiana.  He earned bachelors, masters and doctorate degrees in Horticulture from Louisiana State University.  Mark and his wife, Ellen, currently reside in Lafayette, IN.  They are the parents of 5 children between the ages of 27 and 17.   He was born and raised in the small town of Sunshine, LA.
