FDA Allows Bovaer Use in Dairy Cattle

The Food and Drug Administration announced the pathway for Elanco US, Inc.’s Bovaer® for use in lactating dairy cows to reduce methane emissions. The FDA said it will use enforcement discretion for certain animal drug requirements for Bovaer®. AFIA continues to urge Congress to pass the Innovative FEED Act.
